Hey y’all! Notice any positive changes to the blog lately? I’ve been working extra hard ‘behind the scenes’ prettying this website up! Hope you like it! I was thinking about craft rooms today, and with a space dedicated to creativity there are A LOT of accessories you can add easily and cost effectively.
Even if you don’t have a craft room you can still add certain objects of interest, and organization accessories which will easily help create the space you want. Hopefully this is a good shopping list for you to consider! When shopping for specific craft ideas I keep in mind the reviews and quality of our purchases. Also ask yourself, ‘Is each item worth it for my passion?’
Make your craft space an oasis! These photo ideas range from organization, to decor, and useful crafting tools. Oh and if you want to copy any of these looks for your space you can click on the links underlined or the photos for convenience. Let’s get started…
1. | Wall Mount craft storage rack, and it actually comes with baskets!
Ok, when I found this I was seriously so excited! I personally have one wall in mind that this would look absolutely amazing on. It’s PERFECT if you have a smaller space to work with. Ribbons, jars, fabric, sizzors, needlework accessories, yarn, paper craft items… really you can store just about any accessory on this nifty wall mount!
Hey knitters and crafters! Look what I found! Is this idea gorgous or what? I REALLY like that it hangs beautifully on the door. Oh and you could also think of using this for your fabrics collection too.
Can we talk about how awesome this sewing table is for a minute?! If you have a small space to work this would be a great addition. When you’re done, just fold it up, and put the table in your closet. Side note, this was the best photo I could find of it. There’s a ton of awesome 5 star reviews for this also!
Is this cozy looking or what? A basket for your fabrics, drawers for organizing, a silhouette, flowers, a quilted wallhanging, and an organizer for threads. I adore the way this corner is laid out for some personal display inspiration. This is something I would like to do! Perfect and simple for even the tiniest of spaces dedicated to making crafts.
Take a look at this, how nifty! I was thinking not only would this chair be great for extra sewing storage – but what about your crochet and paper craft accessory storage as well?! So neat, especially for small spaces!
It’s the best photo I could find. It actually reminds me of those hanging shoe organizers. If you already have one in your closet why not use that to copy this idea for your space? Instead of using it for your shoes, put your yarn, sewing, and craft accessories in it. Then you can and hang it up around your crafting oasis. For this one though if you look on the sides it will also hold papers and other items too! Best part is this is under 10$ with great reviews too.
I found this paper mount and had to share how awesome it looks. It’s also decent with the functions it has. Of course it also depends on what type of crafts you like to do in your spare time. This easel also converts to a wall mount storage unit too. Great for those of us that love working paper crafts!
This is awesome if you enjoy paper craft organization as much as I do! It’s helpful for loose paper storage and useful for simple organization, but I’m also thinking this would be GREAT for sorting small items like needles, buttons, specialty craft pens etc. if you have a small desk like I do this doesn’t take up a lot of room either.
As crafters we tend to accumulate a lot of small accessories. Rolling carts with a lot of drawers work GREAT in super small spaces or corners. If you have just a desk to work with this will save you a ton of time trying to think of ways to organize all of your random craft accessories easily.
Now this is excellent for our ribbons, glitters, glues, needles, and smaller objects. I think caddies are great for those of us who love to just chill on the couch or on our comfy bed and knit, sew, make jewelry or just something random. Simply take your caddy with you, and you’ll have everything you need. This would also be perfect for those long road trips you will take every now and then, and if you’re the passenger keep yourself entertained using this caddy with organized smaller crafts!

Hello and welcome to Chatty Crafting!
I’m a graphic designer, DIYer, antiquing, decor lover, coffee drinker, and crafting enthusiast. I am always inspired to try something different. Most of my life I have been somewhat of an odd ball. In my early 20’s I decided to accept these unique traits of mine. Better late than never I suppose. So I encourage anyone reading this to realise how uniquely beautiful and loved you are!
My husband actually encouraged me in my life’s quest to constantly live in a creative inspired mindset. He was the one who recently pointed out, “You are happiest when you’re doing a craft.” Now while I do enjoy graphic design, every now and then I would go out on a whim and just get my hands dirty. Some of those projects are still in our home, and even get complimented on by visitors. Some are just to get my hands dirty, and thinking outside of the box.
Let’s face it we ALL love compliments. And those compliments really encouraged me to keep getting my hands dirty, make a mess, and just create something from nothing, or restore something to new beauty. Even just try out other creative thinkers inspired ideas, with my own twist.
I’m going to be real here with these two confessions. ‘Pinaholic’ and or ‘coffee addict’ are words that perfectly describe me. On a daily basis you can find me on my computer with a cup of coffee in hand, and pinning away! Recently I have been clicking on pins that caught my attention, and they did their jobs well! I truly enjoy reading about those who have followed their passion, and who help others think creatively. I hope you find my future public victories, and epic fails entertaining as I step out into the world of blogging.
On the occasion I will talk about other things, as a part of this blog is ‘Chatty‘ Crafting. Feel free to join in on the conversation. I hope to make this a fun place! Thank you for reading, it truly means a lot!
