Hey everyone! It’s about time I did another chatty type of post. OK I have to share this. So I always seem to get lost in the sea of a zillion stunning photo ideas, and I just share everything I find absolutely beautiful to decorate/craft with… the problem is you could intend to sit and look at Pinterest for about 10 minutes, then before you know it you’ve spammed your online friends Pinterest home page with a ton of beautiful looking photos and creative ideas. Do any of you do this too? Please let me know! 😀
On another train of thought. I was thinking about regularly posting on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays! Oh and I check my messages daily, and do my absolute best to get back to everyone asap! 🙂 You can expect a post on either or all three of those days. At the moment I have a ton of free printables I’m making, and those will be up next week!
Here’s a questions, that I would LOVE your input on. What are YOUR favorite types of posts that you like to read or browse in regards to either crafts/diy/decor blogs? Are there any helpful critiques and or ideas you have for me, that you would like to see of more on the blog?
Your opinions are SO helpful and welcomed here. Feel free to private message me or write a comment. Have a splendid day, and look forward to more freebies next week! Cheers everyone!
Hi y’all! I decided to do something a bit different for this blog post. I’ll always start off a chatty post that part of this blog is ‘chatty’ crafting. Basically nothing fancy, just chatting away. So, I thought I would catch up with you guys! Who’s excited for Fall? I know I am! We are planning a trip to OK soon to go kayaking and watch the leaves change this year. Normally we go to our local state fair, but we’re shaking things up a bit this year!
Which brings me to ask you all some questions about holiday traditions. I like the idea of traditions, because it creates a sense of routine and fun. Although we try not to get stuck in a rut every year – so we tend to plan new things to do instead of the same old tradition/s. However my favorite Fall traditions are something I look forward to every year during the dry months of Summer.
My husband and I watch our favorite movies, go to our favorite stores, drink our favorite drinks, cook pumpkin seeds, and really have a great time with our Fall routine. What I love most is grabbing a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and sitting outside enjoying the colored foliage. I also adore all of the crafts I get to make this time of year as well! Such a fun and creative season this is. Oh not to mention I will be posting another craft soon, my favorite crafts involve foliage and DIY banners. For whatever reason I simply love making banners, and I’ll share the next one I make with you guys!
What are your favorite Fall traditions that you and your family love doing together? Also what are you most looking forward to, and do you plan on decorating/crafting for the season? I would love to know your thoughts on Fall traditions! Maybe we could bounce off ideas, and my husband and I could start some new traditions that we haven’t thought of! Looking forward to your comments and messages everyone! Cheers! 🙂
I wanted to do a quick blog update. Let’s catch up! I’ve been busy working on a ton of ideas for the upcoming seasons. Look forward to new crafts, diys, gardening and decor ideas anyone could use or make!
If you were wondering I do spend most of my time while I’m preparing for seasonal posts over on Pinterest. I am active there daily. 🙂 Oh and the other part of the title here says, ‘free newsletters‘. That’s right! Simply sign up on the sidebar with your email, and you will be updated just about every other day with new craft and decor ideas I have. It’s a bit easier, and more personalized than blog posts. We can personally chat about all things cozy and crafty!
Thank you so much for your interest in this blog! It means so much to me and I appreciate everyone here! If you have any specific ideas for this blog or requests you would like me to make for you let me know in the comments section! Enjoy and happy crafting!
Hello and welcome to Chatty Crafting!
I’m a graphic designer, DIYer, antiquing, decor lover, coffee drinker, and crafting enthusiast. I am always inspired to try something different. Most of my life I have been somewhat of an odd ball. In my early 20’s I decided to accept these unique traits of mine. Better late than never I suppose. So I encourage anyone reading this to realise how uniquely beautiful and loved you are!
My husband actually encouraged me in my life’s quest to constantly live in a creative inspired mindset. He was the one who recently pointed out, “You are happiest when you’re doing a craft.” Now while I do enjoy graphic design, every now and then I would go out on a whim and just get my hands dirty. Some of those projects are still in our home, and even get complimented on by visitors. Some are just to get my hands dirty, and thinking outside of the box.
Let’s face it we ALL love compliments. And those compliments really encouraged me to keep getting my hands dirty, make a mess, and just create something from nothing, or restore something to new beauty. Even just try out other creative thinkers inspired ideas, with my own twist.
I’m going to be real here with these two confessions. ‘Pinaholic’ and or ‘coffee addict’ are words that perfectly describe me. On a daily basis you can find me on my computer with a cup of coffee in hand, and pinning away! Recently I have been clicking on pins that caught my attention, and they did their jobs well! I truly enjoy reading about those who have followed their passion, and who help others think creatively. I hope you find my future public victories, and epic fails entertaining as I step out into the world of blogging.
On the occasion I will talk about other things, as a part of this blog is ‘Chatty‘ Crafting. Feel free to join in on the conversation. I hope to make this a fun place! Thank you for reading, it truly means a lot!
