Hey everyone! It’s back! Yes, budget friendly decor ideas are here again! I’m loving everything at Dollar Tree lately. I’ve been planning out a really festive display you can copy anywhere. Best part, it’s all under 15$!

All you need is a quick trip to your local Dollar Tree for your Halloween display. So with that said, I’ve collected a couple of these items over the years, and I purchased a couple of new seasonal items this year as well. I like to change up my seasonal displays every year, and hopefully these ideas will inspire you to have fun decorating this Fall!

With that said, here are my recommended items to get for this look :

  1. ) Cotton Spider Web (It comes with actual faux spider rings you can attach!)
  2. ) Basket (in stores)
  3. ) Small Pumpkins (in stores)
  4. Creepy Cloth
  5. ) Bunting Leaves (in stores)
  6. ) Jack- O’lantern Lights
  7. ) Purple Bat Lights
  8. ) Orange Lights
  9. ) Tape and Thumbtacks (in stores)

Let’s start! To build visual interest and layers hang up your creepy cloth behind your spider web this will make your spider web visually pop. You will want to use either tape, or thumbtacks for this.

Underneath this display I placed a couple of whimsical 1$ pumpkins in a straw basket. I also layered the bottom part of this display with orange plug in lights which helps make the bottom layer of the spider web to pop as well.

Now onto the actual web building! Take your cotton spider web, and rip it up into smaller sections. Think of how real spider webs look for inspiration. Wherever your display is (this is my office at home for example) take a small piece of cotton, and attach it to any corner or object that it easily latches onto.

Stretch out each section of cotton as thin as you can. Use thumbtacks or tape if you don’t have corners you can use like this example. Keep doing this until all of the cotton is stretched as it can be. Then simply place your faux spiders (that come with this) specific spider web set from Dollar Tree.

I wanted to add more lighting so I hung across these purple bat lights with the jack-o’lantern lights on top of the web. I also went ahead and added this gorgous leaf bunting from Dollar Tree as well…
